The Origin

From engineer to director

Alan Nehemy didn't set out to build a management consulting company. He was an engineer who became a director who kept noticing the same thing at every scale, in every industry: brilliant, capable people being placed inside systems that were never designed for them to succeed.

The dysfunction wasn't coming from bad people or bad intentions. It was coming from the absence of systems — and the assumption that good people would just figure it out. They rarely did. Not sustainably. Not in a way that scaled.
